The hotel is conveniently located across the road from the lively market and iconic Mi Tierra Cafe and Mariachi Bar. The rooms were outdated and had a cigarette and mold smell, but our room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. The service was responsive and courteous, always ready to help. The location is fantastic for exploring downtown San Antonio, although dining options were limited mainly to simple breakfast items. The pool area was well-maintained and enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, right across from the vibrant Hispanic market area and within walking distance to the River Walk and Alamo. The rooms were connected through a hallway, which was convenient, but unfortunately, mine was opposite the laundry room, making it quite noisy. The service at noon was exceptional, going beyond my expectations, though they didn't have ripe bananas for breakfast as I had hoped.
